Angee Noel (Chickasaw, Choctaw, Mississippi Choctaw, Mexican) has over ten years of experience in education and social service settings, including nonprofits, public and charter schools, and state and tribal governments. She has held various positions working with children, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds in after-school/summer programs, student activities, child welfare, parent programs, and higher education. She has a Master of Science in Educational Leadership focusing on College Student Development and a Bachelor of Science in Family Life Education focusing on Child Development.
Angee is a millennial gamer who grew up playing sports games like Madden and NBA with her brother but has always had a soft spot for classics like Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog. Now, she combines the nostalgia of her childhood gaming experiences with her professional career, incorporating those early influences into her streaming journey. Shana Leigh (Cherokee & Choctaw), known as the Indigenous Scream Queen, is a horror streamer and content creator. With a passion for horror and the supernatural, Shana engages her audience with thrilling gameplay, particularly in her favorite game, Phasmophobia. Accompanied by her loyal black German Shepherd service dog, Vodka, she weaves her cultural heritage into captivating storytelling. Beyond gaming, Shana advocates for various causes, including MMIWP, and aims to create a welcoming and positive community.
Shana received her Bachelors of Science in Criminology & Psychology from Florida State University, holds an active Cosmetology License, and a certification to Teach English As a Foreign Language. Aretha Greatrix is a member of Keshetchewan First Nation but was born and raised in Edmonton, AB. Aretha is involved in a lot of activities, including being a filmmaker. Aretha produced documentaries on residential schools, reconciliation, and the sixties scoop - she is a storyteller and uses her work to explore and educate people on Indigenous issues.
Aretha is the Program Director for the Dreamspeakers Festival Society, Canada's oldest and longest-running Indigenous film festival. Since the pandemic, Aretha began streaming online. As a new gamer, Aretha has explored the world of online content creation while incorporating her passion for building community, educating and bringing awareness to Indigenous Issues.
Aretha received a Bachelor of Applied in Communications in Professional Writing from MacEwan University in 2012. And recently finished a Master of Arts in Communication and Technology from the University of Alberta, where she explores reconciliation between Indigenous people and Canada. While in school, she works as a Graduate Research Assistant teaching Digital Literacy to youth during the summer.
